Classes meet from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Fee is $15 per girl. Pre-registration is required. Weather Watch: A three hour program designed to meet most of the requirements of the Girl Scout’s Junior Weather Watch activity badge. Classes meet from 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Fee is $15 per girl. | May 16 | Boy Scout Merit Badge Program: Introduction to Aviation: An intensive, day-long study of aerodynamics, navigation, instrumentation and the basics of flight. This class is designed for ages 10-17 and meets all of the requirements for the Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge. Classes meet 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. Fee is $35 for non-members ($25 for museum members.) Pre-registration is required. |
| May 30 | Air Fair: Celebrate a day of flight and more at the Virginia Aviation Museum. Check out an Emergency Management Mobile Command Post and a Department of Aviation Cessna and attend a rocket building workshop. |
