By Car
From Interstate 64 take Exit 197A (Richmond International Airport (RIC) exit) and follow South Airport Drive and turn left to access Huntsman Road, following the brown Virginia Aviation Museum signs.
From Interstate 295 take Exit 31B (RIC exit) follow South Airport Drive and turn left to access Huntsman Road, following the brown Virginia Aviation Museum signs.
There is ample free parking adjacent to the museum.
By Air
For those who would like to visit the Virginia Aviation Museum by air we suggest you park your aircraft at either the Richmond Jet Center or Martin Air ramps--both are full service FBOs. The Virginia Aviation is a short five minute walk or in inclement weather transportation is possible by calling the Museum at 804-236-3622.
For those who are flying commercially and want to visit the Museum while at the Richmond International Airport visit the Richmond Visitors Center located down stairs in the terminal. They can help you contact the Museum for transportation to the Museum. |
