Volunteer

Greet guests, sell tickets, help with purchases in the museum store and guide guests through the historic airplane collection. Minimum age is 14. Two 4-hours shifts a month are required.

Additional benefits enjoyed by Science Museum of Virginia and Virginia Aviation Museum volunteers include:

• Free Family/Dual Membership for volunteers who give a minimum of 100 hours per year;
• Invitations to museum special events and adult educational programs;
• Service recognition at annual volunteer recognition awards dinner and presentation;
• Letter of reference.
